Julie Newport brings an interest in history, global studies, and K-12 education to her role as Director of Marketing and Development at Primary Source. She began at Primary Source in 2004 as a program associate, coordinating the organization's programs for teachers and expanding her understanding of the challenges facing K-12 teachers looking to incorporate global perspectives into the classroom. In her current role, she oversees how the organization markets its work, helping Primary Source to reach new audiences of program participants and potential donors. She enjoys travel, baking, and life in Boston with her husband and dog.
