As the librarian at Primary Source, Jennifer is delighted to share the organization's collections with teachers and is dedicated to presenting teacher professional development opportunities related to world histories and cultures. Jennifer frequently presents on global and multicultural literature, finding and evaluating information, and using technology in the classroom. She has presented at the Foundation for Children's Books 2013 Spring Conference, the 2013 Boston Book Festival, The Global Education Conference, and the Massachusetts Teachers Association Summer Conference. Jennifer is currently the Communications Chair for the ISTE Special Interest Group for Librarians (SIGLIB) and has presented at the annual ISTE conference for the past 4 years. Jennifer runs a beloved book group each year for teachers and is the brains behind our Global Read. She is eager to expand Primary Source's reach to teachers through online resources such as our resource guides.
Jennifer received her Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University. Prior to joining Primary Source, she was the Instruction Coordinator and a Reference Librarian for the Emerson College Library and a Reference and Instruction Assistant in the Herman B. Wells Library and Information Commons at Indiana University. She has also worked at the Art Institute of Chicago and was a teaching assistant in Greece.
