Contemporary South Asia SeminarMiddlesex Community College is pleased to present "Contemporary South Asia: Emerging Trends and Voices," a multi-disciplinary seminar on the timely cultural complexities of South Asia. This seminar will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Federal Reserve Plaza in Boston, Massachusetts. Speakers at the seminar include: This seminar will give special attention to the globally strategic areas of India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, and will focus primarily on the social, political, and economic roles these countries play in their region and throughout the world. Participants in this seminar will include college and university faculty, staff, administrators, and students, primarily from social sciences, humanities, and business departments. Participants with other specialties and interests are also invited. The fee for this event is $60 ($30 for students with an ID) which covers registration, conference materials, presentations, a continental breakfast, and lunch.
