Massachusetts Educational Delegation to ChinaTour dates: April 16-25, 2010 Join a delegation of Massachusetts education leaders for a 10-day exploration of teaching practices in China. Comprised of superintendents and other education leaders, legislators, and global education experts, this professional delegation will consider the similarities and differences between the Chinese and U.S. educational systems—while exchanging ideas about how to bring a global perspective home to Massachusetts classrooms. Tour destinations include Beijing, Xi'an, and Hong Kong. Participants will visit several schools, meet officials at the Ministry of Education, and take part in a meeting about 21st century education at the University of Hong Kong. This tour will introduce participants to the highlights of China while providing an extraordinary opportunity for learning, networking and cultural exchange.
