New Resources Available From Boston-Area ConsulatesIn May 2009, Global Education Massachusetts hosted a panel, Creating Global Schools: A Conversation with the International Community, which brought leaders from the education, business, and policy communities together with members of the consular corps in the Boston area to discuss internationalizing the curriculum of New England schools. Inspired by this meeting, the United Nations Association of Greater Boston and Primary Source collaborated with Boston‐area consulates to create a catalog of resources available to local schools. The catalog is organized by country, and then broken down thematically by subject area and by the type of resources. We hope this guide will help foster a stronger relationship between representatives from various nations and New England students and develop strong global citizenship in our community. Please contact the respective consulate for any materials of interest. The PDF download of the catalog is available from the Primary Source website. |
