Support International Education through Primary Source Happy New Year! Thank you to everyone who has generously supported Primary Source with a recent donation. Now more than ever we are working to increase our contributions from individuals in order to fully sustain our programming for 2008 and beyond. We need to raise just $10,000 more by January 25 in order to reach our goal of $100,000 for the year. Your contribution, combined with other funding sources, will help us achieve our mission of educating for global understanding. If you have not given recently, please consider a gift of $25, $50, $100, or more by donating online or sending your check to Primary Source, 101 Walnut Street, Watertown, MA 02472. Thank you!
Executive Director Kathleen Ennis: K-12 Global Education Leader On December 6, Kathleen Ennis, Executive Director of Primary Source, spoke about the importance of international education as part of the 2007 NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) Conference. This year's conference highlighted "Education for a Global Economy" and included Ms. Ennis in a panel presentation focusing on global studies in K-12 schools. Ms. Ennis emphasized that by infusing international perspectives into math, history, English, science, and art classrooms, schools can prepare students to be "global citizens" who will not only thrive in a global economy but see people from other countries as neighbors.
