Join Primary Source's 20th Anniversary Challenge
In 1989, our founders Anne Watt and Anna Roelofs had a vision. They believed that educating teachers about diverse world histories and cultures would create a more tolerant, peaceful and inclusive global society, one in which young people could cooperate, collaborate and communicate across racial, linguistic, and national lines. From this shared dream, Primary Source was born. Today, twenty years later, Primary Source is still driven by the same principles, and works towards these goals every day by delivering outstanding global education programs that promote global understanding in K-12 classrooms. Today our organization is stronger than ever before, and we invite you to join us on Friday, October 23rd Primary Source to celebrate our shared success at the Gala for Global Education at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts. For tickets and information, please visit our gala webpage. If you are not able to join us at the Gala itself, we still want you to be a part of this very special event. Primary Source is issuing a challenge to teachers and friends to help raise $10,000 in honor of our 20th anniversary. Everyone who contributes $20 or more in response to our challenge will be included on our "Great Wall" at the gala. If 500 teachers can each make a gift of $20 by October 20th, we will reach our goal. Please become a part of this important fund drive and support global education in our schools! Here are just a few reasons why YOU should join Primary Source's 20th Anniversary Challenge:
