Learning Chinese in Maine Conference a Success
On November 30, 2007, 120 teachers gathered for Primary Source's "Learning Chinese in Maine" conference at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. The teachers, who came from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and as far away as Ithaca, New York, represented 34 school districts and 12 private academies. Presentations at the conference featured Dr. Shuhan Wang of the Asia Society as well as panels of non-profit organizations including the China Exchange Initiative, the College Board, and US-China Teachers Exchange.
