Primary Source Announces Partnership with China-United States Exchange Foundation
Primary Source is pleased to announce a new partnership with the China-United States Exchange Foundation, a Hong Kong based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the relationship between China and the United States.

Teacher Q&A: Laurie Katz, Weston Middle School
Laurie Katz teaches theater and dance at Weston Middle School. She recently developed and directed sixth, seventh, and eighth graders in "Street Child," a short play inspired in part by Primary Source's recent course on East Africa.

"Creating a play...can give students a true sense of how they fit into a global community, and motivate them to want to be caring citizens of the world."

Primary Source Recognized for Promoting Chinese Culture
The Chinese Culture Connection honored Primary Source's nineteen years of China education in an awards ceremony on April 4, 2008.

Primary Source Study Tour Photo Contest
We're looking for powerful photos that capture the spirit of international exchange that so many teachers have experienced on a Primary Source trip, be it to China, Japan, Ghana, or Cambodia and Vietnam. Any photo taken on a Primary Source tour is eligible, including those from past trips. Submission deadline is September 12, 2008.

2008 Goldman Sachs Foundation Youth Prize for Excellence in International Education
Asia Society and The Goldman Sachs Foundation are pleased to announce the 2008 Youth Prizes for Excellence in International Education. Up to five winners will be selected to receive up to $10,000 each as well as an all-expense paid trip to New York City in November 2008 to receive their prize.
