Primary Source Welcomes New Board Members
Primary Source's board of directors has recently grown to include five new members. Carol Goss, Roma Kelley, Rosalie Kerr, Amanda Tham, and Evelyne Vallet each bring enthusiasm and a fresh perspective on the organization's work to prepare students for our interconnected world.
Carol Goss
"I am really gratified to have this chance to join the board of Primary Source and be able to contribute to an organization that is filling such a vital need for high quality global education for teachers. Witnessing Primary Source's programs first-hand, I have seen that their effect on teachers and students, is inspiring and can be truly transformational. I am delighted to contribute to this vital mission."
Roma Kelley
"I am very excited to be joining Primary Source's Board of Directors, especially as globalization takes hold of every aspect of our lives. Now, more than ever, Primary Source's work is of the utmost importance to preparing our students of the 21st century to work, live and thrive in our interconnected world."
Rosalie Kerr
"Based on my interests and experience, I believe that Primary Source is supplying something crucial we need for better prepared citizens, a better informed nation, and a better world in the future by connecting people and cultures through education."
Amanda Tham
"I've joined Primary Source's board because this organization provides a channel for educators to bring diversity and global awareness into classrooms and help students accelerate in the world that is determined to move globalization into every facet of their lives."
Evelyne Vallet
"The only way our society will progress is by increasing tolerance: tolerance of other points of view and other perspectives. We want to foster collaboration with remote parts of the world and with our own neighbors. Having lived on several continents, I have relentlessly worked to promote this kind of understanding, one person, one project at a time. I have found in Primary Source the embodiment of that ideal on a large scale. Primary Source has the potential to touch the lives of hundred of thousands of children, the adults of the future." |
