Primary Source Announces 2009 Summer Institutes
This summer, hundreds of K-12 teachers will use their time off to expand their knowledge of world cultures and history. Primary Source's annual summer courses offer educators the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics, network with colleagues, and share best practices in global education.
In 2009, the organization's offerings include Understanding Modern China; U.S. Immigration, Migration and Race Relations; African Places, African Stories; and Teaching for Global Understanding in the 21st Century.
