Primary Source Chosen as Finalist for 2011 New England Innovation Awards

Primary Source was recently named a finalist in the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) 2011 New England Innovation Awards.
Executive Director Julia de la Torre shares that "we were honored to be considered among such a prestigious group of New England companies who are not only leaders in their fields, but innovators improving the lives of individuals and communities. Primary Source is proud to be seen as an innovator in the field of education, bringing necessary resources and programs to educators who believe in a deeper, more globally-connected learning experience for their students."
The Innovation Awards recognize companies that have achieved success through innovation and thought leadership - organizations SBANE describes as "technology-driven enterprises who are potentially 'game changers' in their marketplace niche." Primary Source was recognized for its critical role in preparing K-12 students for a global society and its continued growth through the use of online educational tools.
A panel of judges representing the region's technology, services, retail/distribution, and manufacturing industries selected 20 finalists from a record-breaking pool of 185 nominees. Judging was based on four factors: the specific nature of the nominee's innovation, the social and/or industry impact of the innovation, the company's rate of growth, and its financial stability.
We are very grateful to SBANE for recognizing Primary Source among many other successful, dynamic organizations. In order to ensure that our students can compete and collaborate effectively in the 21st century, Primary Source will continue providing innovative solutions to the challenges that teachers and schools face in cultivating these skills.
