Primary Source and the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission are seeking student performances for Boston's Lincoln Town Hall in October 2009.

Individual students and groups are invited to share projects that reflect the Town Hall's theme of "education and the power of words," showcasing the themes of language, self-transformation, or Lincoln's legacy for learners today. Participating students will have the opportunity to perform or exhibit their work for an audience of hundreds and meet celebrities and panelists.

Possible performances, all of which should take 5 minutes or less, include speeches, reenactments, plays, and visual displays. Presentations will honor Abraham Lincoln's legacy by considering the transformative power of education and speech.
