The Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University presents "Wiyohpiyata: Lakota Images of the Contested West," which features images drawn by Plains Indian warriors.

"Wiyohpiyata: Lakota Images of the Contested West" is on display through 2011. These drawings were recovered by the U.S. Army in a ledger in 1846 after the Sioux and Cheyenne defeated George Custer.
