Join us for this immersive one-day program that introduces multiple ways to integrate gender and sexuality in your social studies curriculum—comparative, cross-cultural, text-based, visual, and biographical among others. Participants will sample case studies and primary sources from the ancient world, pre-, early-, and modern- world history, colonial American history, and contemporary global studies, and receive guidance to develop a “gender integration” lesson for their own classroom.Especially for educators of grades 9-12.
