    • Participate anytime between Saturday, October 2 - Sunday, November 14, 2021
    • Explore walks, trails, and sites (provided at registration) and learn about their importance to the African American experience OR commit to walking 20 miles while listening to our curated playlist about African American history
    • Attend our in-person event, HistoryThon Together: Marblehead's Journey to Discover Its African American History, in Marblehead, MA, in collaboration with Marblehead Museum, on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11am

  • You can make a difference!

    • Expand much-needed awareness about African American history
    • HistoryThon raises funds* to support Primary Source in developing and updating African American history programming and resources, including the Making Freedom Digital Curriculum project

    • Put on your walking shoes, grab a friend, and get outside to learn more about African American history
    • Register as an individual or build a team: inviting friends, family, and/or colleagues to join HistoryThon is a great way to participate! There will be opportunities to win prizes!
