  • Choose when and where your journey takes you!
    • Explore walks, trails, and sites of historical importance to the African American experience selected from a list provided at registration.
    • Participate anytime between October 2-November 14, 2021

  • Ask your community to support you!
    • We are raising funds to answer urgent calls for classroom-ready lessons about African American history.
    • Our Making Freedom Digital Curriculum will revolutionize teaching about African American history. It’s a resource that needs to be revised, updated, digitized, and disseminated. With your support, we'll get it done!

    • Put on your walking shoes, grab a friend, and get outside to learn more about local African American history.
